 Brendan T. Canty (Bud) received his law degree from University of Bridgeport School of Law, after graduating from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Prior to attending law school, he was employed by the Home Insurance Group and Liberty Mutual Insurance Company as a claims adjuster and a supervisor in the workers' compensation claims unit.
He is licensed to practice law in Connecticut and Utah as well as the United District Courts in the federal courts of both states. In 1994, he was appointed by Governor Weicker to the Licensing and Disciplinary Board for Chiropractic Physicians.
Brendan Canty is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, and the Norwalk Exchange Club, where he was the former treasurer. He is the Safety Director of the Milford National Lou Gehrig Little League as well as a founder of the Earl C. Baker Memorial Fund, and a member of the Milford Elks, Sons of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus.
